Apple (AAPL) on Friday announced plans to open two new R&D centers in China in Shanghai and Suzho.
The two openings are in addition to previous plans to open two centers in Beijing and Shenzen.
Apple has committed over 3.5 billion yuan ($507.1 million) in Chinese-based research.
